DRUMMERS AND DRUM TEACHERS!
If you've been searching for busy, ripping, high-end "jazz/fusion" styles of drumming, I've got'em! Don't miss this one! Hundreds of examples of beats, fills, and multi-measure solos! Detailed study in such odd time signatures as 5/4, 7/8, 9/8, 11/8, 13/8, 15/16, just to name a few. All written out exactly, with easy-to-grasp explanations of how they're all counted and felt. Also included are techniques for correctly executing them around a drum set, for the best efficiency and speed. And if you think you need a "giant" drum set, guess again! All of this material is specifically set up to be played on a 5-piece set, with a minimum of cymbals. You'll want to keep this book handy! Get in touch with me to place orders, or with any questions. E-mail would be best. I'll see that you get the necessary information.

Also available: My solo release entitled EARTH NATIVE. Currently available only on cassette. Everything was done completely by myself in my home MIDI studio. They're all my own compositions and arrangements, and their styles vary and cover a large spectrum, everything from percussive, tribal, jazz and electronics, to heavily orchestrated pieces with thick strings, horns, chimes, and choir voices. My writing is strongly influenced by the works of Bernard Herrmann, Miklos Rozsa, Aaron Copeland, and Dimitri Shostakovich. If you feel like gambling $12.00 plus $3.00 shipping, I can promise you close to an hour's worth of music, definitely written from the heart, and even more definitely without compromise. Please contact me with any inquiries. I'd love to hear from you. Once again, E-mail would be best.

Coming soon......
An entire book devoted to "double bass drum" techniques. Not your "garden variety, 16ths on the feet" figures that you always read and hear. This one uses the double feet as part of the "lead line." My theory is that all four limbs are equal, and that the feet do NOT function ONLY as support and bottom for the hands. They have their part in the melodic, linear figures, which drums play and express, the same as any other melodic instrument. Keep in touch with this website for a release time.
