ABAANA DI UGANDA

Abaana di Uganda hopes to reach their objectives by the following programs and funds: Abaana di Uganda is an non profit organization with the objective to give opportunities to poor children in Uganda to have education. The main objective are children in the age of 3 to 20 years, such as orphans, street children or children from poor families.

Individual Child support program This program is exclusively designed for children who needs education. A child will be sponsored personally by a sponsor and receive financial and emotional support. The sponsor can have contact with the child via our contact person in Uganda this is due of the enormous distance geographically. Financial support makes it possible for a child to go to school; emotional support helps a child to feel loved, taken care of and useful. General support and assistance funds This fund is meant to provide an apply for help and assistance of all kind. The fund can provide finances to rebuild a school, for library books, food parcels, unexpected medical costs, a bike or motorcycle to visit families who lives in distant, in case of disasters etc.

It is the firm conviction of Abaana di Uganda that education will obtain opportunities for young people to build up a better live for themselves and their families, with that it will give hope for the future and to break out the vicious circle of poverty. We believe in the engagement of the Rich countries and their willingness to support us in sharing their richness with those who are in need so that we can accomplish our goals and to achieve a contribution in a dialogue between North and South.
